October 21, 2025

Minnesotans can learn more about election security at mnvotes.gov/secure

SAINT PAUL – On October 21, Minnesota Secretary of State Steve Simon announced a new ad campaign to raise awareness of the robust security measures in place before, during, and after for every election.

The Trusted Elections, Crafted Locally campaign will feature multimedia ads that direct Minnesotans to mnvotes.gov/secure where they can learn more about how local election officials administer elections on behalf of Minnesotans.

“Across Minnesota, there are election officials who work year-round to ensure their communities have access to free, fair, secure, and accurate elections,” said Secretary Simon. “They do their work with expert craftsmanship – relying on the robust laws and procedures in place in Minnesota and their years of hands-on experience.”

At mnvotes.gov/secure, Minnesotans can learn about:

  • Election security measures including how voters are registered, ballots are protected, and election equipment is tested;
  • Minnesota election facts including answers to some of the most commonly asked questions;
  • Transparency and public access including how Minnesotans can get involved in their elections; and,
  • State and Federal Election Law including information on violations of elections law.

Minnesotans will see ads promoting the Trusted Elections, Crafted Locally online and on displays across the Twin Cities Metro Area.
