Join teachers, community outreach staff, and volunteers for a one-hour Lunch and Learn webinar about teaching students and community members all about Minnesota’s caucuses.

Presenters from the Office of Secretary of State and both major political parties will help you help others learn what caucuses are, how they fit in our elections and political processes, how they provide a path for ideas to improve laws and ballot choices, and why caucuses are important.

Successful outreach planning is always bolstered by available data of one sort or another and a way to connect participants to the information or experience you want them to have, value, and utilize. This session was an overview of CIRCLE (Center for Information & Research on Civic Learning and Engagement) at Tufts University, NSLVE (The National Study of Leaning, Voting, and Engagement), and the topic of just where young people are seeking information, connection, resources, and validation in civic spaces (Political Homes). The presenter was CIRCLE's Program manager Riya Rahman.
